Hon. Atong Kuol Manyang, Minister of Youth and Sports, met today in her office with Mr Francis Amin Michael, President of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF).
The meeting was also attended by Mr Mujahid Ali, a member of the SSFF Executive Committee, and Mr Edward Satimo, Director General of Sports at the Ministry.
Discussions centred on the internal operations and challenges facing the SSFF. SSFF President Francis Amin Michael outlined key difficulties, including resource shortages, logistical hurdles, and the need for greater support to advance football development in South Sudan.
Hon Minister Atong Kuol Manyang reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to partnering with the SSFF to address these issues. She stressed the importance of collaboration to bolster the Federation’s activities, especially in representing South Sudan effectively at international competitions.
SSFF President Francis Amin Michael thanked the Minister for her support and pledged full cooperation with the Ministry.
He highlighted several ongoing football development projects that require joint efforts for success.

The meeting ended with both sides recommitting to football as a unifying force for national development and to strengthening ties between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the SSFF.
