Heading into the new football calendar, the committee deliberated on crucial aspects of national football governance, passing a series of major resolutions aimed at structuring upcoming leagues, protecting federation assets, and elevating technical standards across the country.

In a major boost for women’s football, EXCO officially approved the final list of twelve (12) football clubs cleared to compete in the upcoming South Sudan Womenโ€™s Premier League 2026-2027 season.

To improve tactical development and professionalism, EXCO has raised the minimum technical benchmarks for club technical benches. Moving forward, head coaches in the Menโ€™s South Sudan Premier League must hold a minimum of a CAF B Coaching License, while their Assistant Coaches are required to have a CAF C License. Meanwhile, tacticians leading clubs in the South Sudan Womenโ€™s Premier League will now be required to hold at least a CAF D License.

The committee officially approved the Super Cup Resolutions 2026, alongside the overarching structural frameworks for both the Men’s and Women’s South Sudan Premier Leagues.

Demonstrating a commitment to grassroots growth, the meeting also ratified the Youth League U17 and U20 Regulations 2026 for both boys’ and girls’ categories, laying down clear guidelines for the next generation of South Sudanese talent.

In national team affairs, the EXCO gave the green light to the SSFF Secretariat to finalize the contract agreement with the Senior Menโ€™s National Team’s Head Coach.

Administratively, the outcome of the Kator General Assembly was formally approved. Regarding the ongoing pending matter of Al Hilal FC Wau, the EXCO has opted to defer its final status decision to the next committee meeting, after the receipt of official communications from both the Wau Football Association and Al Hilal FC.

In a firm move to protect commercial rights and intellectual property, the Investment Committee has been strictly authorized to initiate legal proceedings against any companies or individuals using the Federation’s logo for commercial purposes. This includes the unauthorized replication, manufacturing, or sale of the national team jerseys without prior written permission from the SSFF.
