JUBA | 24th July 2026 — The Country Director of Tristar Company, Ravneesh Aujla, officially reaffirmed the corporation’s sustained partnership with the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) during the SSFF Annual Season Review Workshop today. Speaking at the event, Aujla praised the federation’s recent grassroots initiatives, emphasizing the critical role of structural development in elevating South Sudanese football onto the continental and global stage.
Aujla highlighted the establishment of the Premier League as a vital milestone for the nation’s footballing future. “The national team is not going to come about suddenly,” Aujla noted, explaining that long-term investment in local leagues is what will ultimately build ground support and nurture the talent required to compete at the highest African levels. He expressed optimism that the skills, coaching, and physical fitness developed through these programs will soon empower young players to strongly represent the Bright Stars globally.
Championing Women’s Football
A key focus of Aujla’s address was the remarkable growth and resilience of women’s football in South Sudan. Reflecting on his presence at the initial launch of the women’s league in 2019, he commended the immense passion and growing involvement of young girls across the country.
While acknowledging the significant cultural, community, and infrastructural challenges that female athletes face, Aujla stressed the societal importance of pushing past these barriers:
”Since women are doing so well in sport all over the world, and our women, too, in South Sudan… coming forward to take part in this very aggressive physical sport, we must encourage them.”
Closing his remarks, Aujla thanked the organizers and expressed his eagerness to participate in the upcoming weekend presentations to review the federation’s progress.
