New Elected CECAFA President, Paulos Weldehaimanot Andemariam and the new elected CECAFA Executive Committee officially assumed office on February 17, 2026, at the CECAFA headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.

Mr. Amin was in attendance for the official handover ceremony, where leadership was transferred to the new elected CECAFA President. As a key member of the CECAFA Executive Committee, Mr. Amin utilized the visit to hold exclusive bilateral talks with the new leadership. These discussions focused heavily on regional football development, with a specific emphasis on accelerating growth and infrastructure within South Sudan.

Upon his arrival at Juba International Airport, the President was warmly received by a high-level delegation, including First Vice President Mr. Makur Majok and Secretary General Adv. Bak Athian Bak. The successful visit signals a strengthened commitment to elevating South Sudanese football on the regional stage.
